EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a highly researched and effective therapy for the treatment of trauma. It also has been proven helpful to reduce symptoms related to depression, anxiety, grief, phobias, and pain disorders.

Our brains have a natural way to recover from traumatic events, but sometimes they can get stuck Through a set of structured protocols, a trained therapist can help a client focus on a disturbing event and stimulate the natural healing process. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR does not require a lot of talking about the event and resolution can occur within a few sessions.
